The aim of the present research was to conduct meta-analysis on the relationship between identification commitment, affiliation commitment and exchange commitment with participation to decision making, direct service to the public and exrarole behaviors. 15 studies from throughout of Iran involving 4129 participant were used in this meta-analysis. Data was analyzed using Schmit and Glass’s method. Hence, the mean size of effect for the relations between dimensions of organizational commitment with participation to decision making, direct service to the public and extra role behaviors was computed. Results revealed that, the mean of effect size for participation in decision making is highest compared to the mean of effect sizes of direct service to public and extra role behaviors. Also results showed that participation in decision making has a mean effect size with identification commitment, exchange commitment, affiliation commitment (0.37, 0.32 and 0.67 respectively). Direct service to public with the three dimensions of organization commitment have mean of effect sizes of 0.33, 0.33 and 0.25 respectively. Finally, extra-role behaviors have mean of effect sizes of 0.19, 0.207 and 0.085 respectively.
