هدف رضایت از زندگی یک سازه مهم روان‌شناختی و به معنی ارزیابی کلی فرد از زندگی است. متغیرهای بسیاری می‌توانند در ارتباط با رضایت از زندگی اهمیت داشته باشند.
مواد و روش ها این پژوهش برای تعیین رابطه بین حمایت اجتماعی ادراک‌شده و رضایت از زندگی با نقش واسطه تاب‌آوری و امیدواری انجام شد. ۲۷۰ نفر از نوجوانان بی‌سرپرست که در اداره بهزیستی، کمیته امداد امام خمینی و اداره تأمین اجتماعی شهرستان زابل پرونده داشتند، در این پژوهش شرکت کردند. شرکت‌کنندگان پرسش‌نامه مقیاس رضایت از زندگی، مقیاس چند‌بُعدی حمایت اجتماعی ادراک‌شده، مقیاس تاب‌آوری و مقیاس امیدواری صفتی را تکمیل کردند.
یافته ها پژوهش نشان داد مدل رابطه حمایت اجتماعی ادراک‌شده و رضایت از زندگی با واسطه امیدواری و تاب‌آوری با داده‌ها برازش دارد. همچنین داده‌ها حاکی از ارتباط مثبت، مستقیم و معنی‌دار بین حمایت اجتماعی ادراک‌شده با امیدواری، تاب‌آوری و رضایت از زندگی بود. علاوه بر این امیدواری و تاب‌آوری به طور مثبت، مستقیم و معنی‌دار بر رضایت از زندگی تأثیر داشت.
نتیجه گیری آنچه جمع‌بندی یافته‌های این پژوهش، مبانی نظری و پژوهشی به‌دست آمده نشان می‌دهد این است که در گسترش و بهبود رضایت از زندگی درنظر‌گرفتن متغیرهای پیش‌بین مانند حمایت اجتماعی و سازوکارهای واسطه‌ای مانند تاب‌آوری و امیدواری ضروری است.
