Social Well-being has a special place in the secondary school years, when teenage students enter the wider community; Therefore, the purpose of the present research was to predict social well-being based on self-destructive behaviors with the mediating role of practical commitment to Islamic beliefs in secondary school female students in Isfahan city. The research method was descriptive and correlational and predictive. The statistical population of the present study was 73,665 female high school students in Isfahan city. The sample size was calculated based on the Morgan-Krejci table as 383 people, and to obtain more accurate results, 451 samples were measured using simple random sampling. To collect data, Keys' social well-being questionnaire, Cunningham's self-destructive behaviors questionnaire, and practical commitment to Islamic beliefs of Navidi and Abdulahi were used. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 and AMOS software version 24 at two levels of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the method of correlation coefficient and path analysis. The findings showed that the standard coefficient of self-destructive behaviors and social well-being (-0.379) with a significance level (p=0.001), the standard coefficient of self-destructive behaviors and practical commitment to Islamic beliefs (-0.445) with a significance level (0.001) p=0.00) and the standard coefficient of practical commitment to beliefs and social welfare (0.354) with a significant level (p=0.001) has been obtained. Also, the results showed that practical adherence to Islamic beliefs had a mediating role in predicting social well-being based on self-destructive behaviors (p=0.05 ≤ 0.007) and the model has a good fit. Therefore, to improve students' social well-being, their self-harming behaviors can be reduced based on religious beliefs
