The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the mediating role of social cognition in the relationship between alexithymia and antisocial behaviors in male students of the second secondary school. The current research was of a descriptive type of correlation based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research included all male students of the second secondary school in Isfahan city in the academic year 1403-1402 and for the sample size, 140 people were selected by available sampling method. And responded to Toronto's Alexithymia scale (1994), Baron Cohen's mind reading scale (2001) and Robinson and O'Leary Kelly's antisocial behavior scale (1998). The obtained data were analyzed using AMOS24 and SPSS26 software and Pearson correlation method and structural equation modeling. The findings showed that the fit of the proposed research model was confirmed. Examining the direct paths of the research showed that alexithymia and social cognition have a significant relationship with antisocial behaviors. Also, the investigation of the indirect path of the research showed that social cognition plays a mediating role in the relationship between alexithymia variables and antisocial behaviors. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that research variables are directly and indirectly related to students' antisocial behaviors and alexithymia variable is related to students' antisocial behaviors through social cognition, hence it is suggested. In order to prevent the emergence of anti-social behaviors, to treatments based on emotion regulation And social recognition be given special attention.
